Universal basic income

I believe that a universal basic income would be highly advantageous to human society. It gives people the freedom to do what they want with their lives and not be slaves in some corporation. And freedom I think nurtures innovation which drives development in society.  Universal basic income also gives people security. If you lose your job for whatever reason and can't find a new one immediately  you don't end up on street, where no one wants to be. You can keep your house indefinitely until you find something else to do. You may say that people should be forced to contribute. That universal basic income allows laziness and not contributing to society. I say the opposite. Universal basic income allows people to contribute, in whatever way they want. You can do good things without earning money. Vincent Van Gogh is an example. He is one of the most renowned painters but didn't earn a single dime during his lifetime. Doctors are another example. You may not want to charge peo...

An electrified currency

I think that electrifying the currency can have many advantages. It simplifies things. If we want to introduce a universal basic income for example. all you'd have to do is take a certain amount of money from every account and re-distribute it evenly among all accounts. Simple. If we created one million credits every time someone is born and placed it in his/her account, and then removed one million credits randomly from the population every time someone dies, then inflation could be a thing of the past. But it is only possible with en electrified currency.

Reset economics

In this post I wanted to introduce the idea of reset economics. It is a universal basic income set so high, so that it requires all the money in circulation to be implemented. The result is that every month the bank account of every citizen is reset to the same amount. You may think this is crazy but really, it is equity. Everybody has equal worth. So everybody deserves the same amount of money. I think that reset economics is something that can be implemented after a phase of normal universal basic income, as a final step towards a money-free society.

A money-free society

I am a strong believer that a money-free society is better than a society with money. Why? Well, I think that trade is ignorance. When you give something to another, the Universe will return that favor to you no matter what so there is no need to ask for anything in return. And without trade there is no need for money. Also, imagine the simplicity of life. You can simply just get whatever you want basically with no strings attached. I guess some kind of system is required to decide if you're fit for getting a mega-yacht for example, you don't just go around acquiring a mega-yacht from society without any kind of performance from your part. But overall, much simpler, much faster, and there would be no poverty too. Anyone can get a place to live and some food. You may say, well people will get lazy and not work and society will collapse. First off, I think you're wrong. I think that people would still work because of the fulfillment and practical need for work. Secondly, even...

A new school-system

I am a big opponent of the current enforced school-system. For one I think it is wrong to force children to learn things, secondly I think it is in-efficient. A child who wants to be a composer should study music, not mathematics, and a child who wants to be a mathematician should study maths, not music. In our current system children learn everything. Why not let the children specialize as early as they know what to do with their lives. I think that the only "compulsory" schooling should be to learn to read and write and speak english. After that, it should be all self-exploratory. A course in world orientation could be offered, where the children learn about the planet, our solar system, the galaxy and so on. Also about the society that exists on this planet, and what different professions exists. After that, the child should be able to stake out a course of action on his or her own. Whether that be to study or start working with something.

Why universal basic income is always affordable

Because in essence universal basic income is nothing more than taking from the rich and giving to the poor. In order to fund the universal basic income everybody pays a tax. The richer you are, the greater this tax will be. When the universal basic income is distributed everybody receives an equal amount, so the poor ones who paid little taxes to fund the universal basic income will end up gaining money on the deal, while the rich who paid more in taxes ends up losing money. So, no matter what the economy looks like, universal basic income is always affordable
